Bonfire at Paladinos : Bonfire, the world's greatest tribute to AC/DC played Paladinos again last Saturday night. I haven't seen those guys in a LONG time so it was way cool to kick it and see them perform again....Opening up for them was Diary of Oz,, you guessed it, a tribute to Ozzy Osborne.

Big Cock Rocks Scottsdale Arizona : Big Cock! Met them on myspace about a year ago, and have been DYING to see them play ,,,,,, they were nice enough to send me their music, which I turned a few friends onto, and when they played their first gig, (opening up for Deep Purple's Ian Gillan in Scottsdale, AZ) I decided I had to check out the show. Five and half hours later we arrived at "The Venue of Scottsdale" where we were treated like royalty. Well worth the trip, especially at the end of the night when I got to meet Mr Gillan.

Rhino Bucket : Rhino Bucket,,,, a great band, played their hearts out to a wild crowd last Friday night June 9 at Hollywood's Club Vodka's Famous Knitting Factory, which was an incredible venue to hold this massive gathering of Rock and Roll fans. Seen walking around were many of Hollywoods music scenes heavyweights, and on the 3 separate stages were many great acts, including Xpeld, the Big Ballers, and of course, Rhino Bucket. It was impossible to catch every band on every stage, so I stuck with my AC/DC influences and caught these guys, Nightmare, and the Big Ballers,,, and I have another gallery of them up already.

The Big Ball Stars : The Big Ball Stars, whose members include Chris Slade of AC/DC, Robin McAuley of MSG, and others from bands like Quiet Riot and Guns and Roses played for a wild crowd at Club Vodka last Friday night, June 9, at Hollywood's Famous Knitting Factory on Hollywood Blvd beteween La Brea and Highland. Their set consisted of mainly AC/DC which was more then alright with me!! I did hear one UFO song in there, but what a great night it was. Congratulation to Club Vodka's Joe Sutton for a very successful evening!!

Y&T at Paladinos April 7th with Xpeld : Y&T played their only L.A. show at Paladinos last Friday night,,, it was a lot of fun. Members of Metallica and Dio were on hand to see them too. These photos were NOT taken with my Nikon, but with a $99 - 5 megapixel camera I picked up at Fry's just for the event, as my big camera is in the shop. I was really pleased with this little camera, it even does video clips. Feel free to post a comment and let me know what ya think!!!

The NAMM show 2006 : What a weekend. My feet are killing me, all I did was walk walk walk all day for 4 days from morning til the wee hours of the next morning. But what a great time I had, met so many cool people, saw a lot of cool shows, it was worth it. Tomorrow is Motley Crue, hopefully get that gallery up tomorrow night!!!

Key Club Hurricane Katrina benefit : This was an event put on by JAX on Sunset, a local restaurant just a couple doors down on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. Benefit for Caleb Reese : Caleb Reese is a young man with lung cancer and no insurance. I don't know him personally, but I have heard his very tragic story from my very good friend Maria Christian- who sings in the Heart tribute band, BAD ANIMALS. This benefit for Caleb included many tribute bands, and was put on by Neil of Neil's music, his good friend who is also in the tribute band to Def Leppard - PYROMANIA.
